What to expect

On Oct. 27, 2023, the CR Smith Museum will host two sessions at its Aviation Career Day for Title I schools in Dallas-Fort Worth, 10 a.m. to noon or noon to 2 p.m. Each session will accommodate up to 200 students, in grades 7 to 12. Registration is first-come, first-served.

Expert panel & chats

Students will hear industry experts share more about their craft. We’ll have professionals ranging from aircraft maintenance technicians to pilots, cybersecurity specialists, engineers and more.

Hands-on activities

Students will get exposure to the industry via hands-on activities, including flight simulator time, CPR demos, and role playing in our Airline Command Center.

Career fair

Students will get to network with American Airlines and industry professionals. Booths will offer an informal opportunity for students to interact with team members one-on-one and in groups.
