Ways to Give
There are several ways to make a gift to the C.R. Smith Museum. Some of the methods are more commonly used, but all can be used to make an outright gift to the Museum or to make a planned gift through one’s will or through a trust.
The method most frequently used to make a gift to the Museum is a personal check. Checks should be made payable to the C.R. Smith Museum.
The C.R. Smith Museum can accept gifts and pledge payments made with a credit card by mail, by telephone, by fax or online. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Gifts in Memory or in Honor
Recognize someone important in your life by giving a tribute gift. Honor a family member or friend by contributing to the C.R. Smith Museum in their honor or memory.
When you make a tribute gift, the honoree or family will be notified of your thoughtfulness.
Many corporations will match their employees’ and retirees’ gifts—doubling or even tripling your gift. Typically, your Human Resources office can provide information and a matching gift form. You’ll complete your portion of the form and submit to the Museum to complete the application process. We’ll recognize both you and your company for your gifts.
Shop and Help out
You can benefit the museum every time you shop for groceries at Kroger and Tom Thumb. To benefit the museum (our account # is 551) at Tom Thumb, just fill out a “Good Neighbors” application and link it to your Rewards Card. At Kroger, just print this letter along with your Kroger Plus Card and they will be scanned and you will be enrolled for one year.
The museum is formalizing their planned giving program. We are currently looking for those who have put the C.R. Smith Museum in their will. If that is you, we would love to hear from you or if you would like to learn more about leaving a planned gift contact Angie Gofredo at 817-967-5920 or email email@example.com.
