Eagle Aviation Academy seeks to educate and inspire awareness about the role of aviation in history, and designed to encourage youngsters to explore aviation careers through a greater awareness of this fascinatingly diverse field and to learn about the concepts of flight. This aviation experience will include instruction by pilots, mechanics, flight attendants, volunteers and professional staff who are in the aviation field. Spaces are limited so register your student today.
All students are welcomed!

The Eagle Aviation Academy is an intensive one-week program that educates youngsters about the evolution of commercial aviation in history and the importance of the industry in the world today. The program is designed to encourage 5th through 8th graders to develop an appreciation for the field of aviation by participating in a series of unique, “behind-the-scenes” experiences at various operations. Past tours have included: Flight Safety, Inc. where they spend time flying in a flight simulator; the American Airlines Flight Academy; the Noise Abatement Center at DFW International Airport where they learn about how aircraft noise is controlled and regulated; and the American Airlines Alliance Maintenance & Engineering Base where they witness a “heavy C-check” of an aircraft in progress. Students also get the opportunity to fly radio-controlled aircraft, construct and fly kites, see a Fort Worth Zoo Wild Wonders program that showcases flying creatures, as well as listen to pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians, and flight attendants talk about their careers.
