Welcome aboard! The museum offers age appropriate self-guided, guided and outreach programs for your group. Whether you are interested in taking a field trip to the museum, introducing your students to aviation in your classroom, our Educators Guide  has helpful information on our programs, museum guides as well as additional resources.

STEM/ Social Studies Integration

We have a proud history at American Airlines in making history in commercial aviation. Our exhibits and programs teach the core fundamentals of flight. From navigational aides to jet engines uncover the history of science, technology and engineering innovations that built the airline industry.

Be your own guide and download our Museum Educators Guide to view topics and themes you and your students can focus on in our historic, interactive and hands-on exhibits.

 

Guided and Hands-On Programs

Join our museum staff and volunteers for guided educational programs that allow students to tour around our historic Flagship Knoxville DC-3 plane. Add to your trip and get hands-on with our educational workshops. Guided programs and workshops must be reserved at least two weeks in advance and may be limited due to availability and group size.
